Caps United are looking to recover from their defeat to Chicken Inn last Sunday when they take on Herentals in a Harare derby at the National Sports Stadium tomorrow afternoon.

Caps United gaffer Lloyd Chitembwe said he was expecting a tough match against Herentals, but was confident that his charges could pick themselves up and get the desired result.

“The match against Herentals FC will be tough, but we want to make sure that we get the three points. We are still ambitious as a team and we have to sort out a few things from the

Chicken Inn match. We have put in a lot of hard work so far this season and we are aiming for another win,” he said.

Chitembwe said he was pleased with the team’s performance against the Gamecocks, but wants to see his side make better use of the chances they create.

The defeat to Chicken Inn was their second at the National Sports Stadium so far this season.

“We failed to capitalise the opportunities that came our way, but it was a very tough match. Chicken Inn are a good team. The way they attacked was good. We were just unlucky not to get something.”

Chitembwe will welcome back skipper Valentine Musarurwa, returning from suspension, as well as goalkeeper Prosper Chigumba who was injured.

“We have no injuries and we are happy that Chigumba has recovered, which is good for us to have him back because of what he contributes to the team,” he said

Makepekepe meet a Herentals side, whose defence is difficult to penetrate, with the team having conceded just six goals from 10 matches.

But the Green Machine can draw confidence from the fact that Herentals have been struggling for goals, having scored just four so far this season.
