Twenty-seven-year old Last Kabvure’s body was found dumped about 50 meters from his workstation.

Mashonaland West provincial police spokesperson Inspector Clemence Mabgweazara confirmed the murder.

“I can confirm that the deceased Last Kabvure showed up at his work place on Friday around 9pm. His employer came to his shop at 4am and could not find the now deceased and had to use spare keys to open the shop. Upon entering the shop, he discovered that an asbestos sheet had been removed from the roof and groceries valued at $2 460 were missing. He then made a police report that led to an investigation,” Mabgweazara said.

“His legs and hands were tied with an electric cable, while his face was covered with a white cloth, and he was bleeding from the mouth. The body was carried to hospital for post-mortem.”

He added: “We, therefore, appeal to anyone with information or leads on the suspects. As police, we urge people to leave houses and properties manned during this festive season.”
