ZUJ secretary-general Foster Dongozi yesterday said preparations for the annual awards were at an advanced stage.

He said traditional and new sponsors had confirmed participation in this year’s awards ceremony.

“There is still room for new organisations who may be interested in partnering ZUJ through sponsoring categories of their choice,” he said.

“The annual awards have become a must-attend event for journalists, celebrities, captains of industry, government officials and politicians.”

Dongozi added that finer details concerning the guest of honour and other issues were being finalised.

“There is so much interest and excitement ahead of the awards, and, as usual, we promise to deliver a glittering event for journalists and our stakeholders,” he said.
