Glamis Arena

Gospel music lovers are in for a treat this weekend as Jabula New Life Ministries International hosts a four-day international conference dubbed Blast from Heaven, which roared to life yesterday at Glamis Arena in Harare. Several local and international gospel artistes, including Michael Mahendere, Khaya Mthethwa, William McDowell and Jonathan Rubain, are expected to perform.

Mubaiwa Hotel

Afro-jazz songbird Princess Makunzva will tomorrow launch her debut five-track album, Chinonzi Rega at Mubaiwa Hotel in Chitungwiza. Former Dynamos Football Club president Keni Mubaiwa will be the guest of honour at the launch, set to be graced by several artistes, including Pixie, King Pop and Shorter-Way.

Red Café

Blessings the Blade tonight performs at Red Café in Harare, supported by Audinance, who frontlines Bekground band. Tomorrow, reggae fans will be in for a treat when singer Mannex returns to the joint, where he will be supported by Lutah King. On Sunday, mbira lovers will be hosted at the joint by the Executive Mbira Sunday featuring Chiremba Hwesa Masango and his Zim Totems.

Zimunhu Bar

Several upcoming dancehall artistes, including Hwindi President, Blot, Empress Massina, Automan and Sweeter B will tomorrow converge for fellow dancehall chanter Chigudo Chihomu Homu’s birthday bash at Zimunhu Bar in Epworth.

Legends Bar & Grill

Top local reggae outfit Transit Crew will tonight entertain patrons at Legends Bar & Grill in Harare, alongside Danny Vybz, Bad Bwoy Sound and wheel spinner DJ Lyaness.

Tomorrow, the joint hosts several hip-hop artistes, including Fucci, Shuver, Nebzy and Saint Floe, who will take turns to entertain guests.

Club Akiz

It will be entertainment galore tonight at Club Akis in Harare as the joint hosts the Wild Twerk Dance night featuring wheel spinners DJ Elder Sammy T and DJ Gwizzy.

Big Apple Night Club

Sungura musician Peter “Young Igwe” Moyo and Utakataka Express start their weekend gigs tonight, with a performance at Big Apple Night Club in Harare. Tomorrow, he takes his act to Banket, with a performance at Coconut Bar. On Sunday, he will entertain patrons at Extra Mile Leisure Spot, before wrapping up his weekend diary on Sunday, with a performance at Globe Trotter.

Gumbo Restaurant & Night Club

Sungura prodigy Romeo Gasa will tonight perform at Gumbo Restaurant & Night Club in Raffingora and will be backed by his Extra Valembe for a performance.

The Barn

Comedian Tyra “Madam Boss” Chikocho will this afternoon mix and mingle with patrons at a braai session at The Barn in Gweru at the NetOne and Madam Boss Family Fun Day.

Golden Mile Hotel

South Africa’s celebrated and award-winning disc jockey, Oskido, will on Sunday headline the Kalawa All White Party at Golden Mile Hotel in Kwekwe. Oskido will share the stage with wheel spinners DJ Tony from South Africa alongside The Travellers of Gweru, DJ Brian, DJ Silver and DJ Flex.

Bulawayo CBD

Miss Tourism Zimbabwe Bulawayo queen Anelisiwe Ndebele will today lead a clean-up campaign in the central business district, in which she will be joined by a bevy of models as part of her ambassadorial role.

Khumalo Hockey Stadium

Sungura maestro Alick Macheso, backed by his Orchestra Mberikwazvo, will tonight take his latest album Dzinosvitsa Kure to Bulawayo, with a performance at Khumalo Hockey Stadium. The Madhawu hitmaker will be supported by Clement “Magwaza” Ncube at the potentially explosive concert. Tomorrow, Macheso heads to Gweru, where he will perform at Midlands Hotel and will be supported by Yulesis and Deep Roots.

Mqombothi Sports Bar

Several wheel spinners including Sweeto, Sheriff, Uzzi, Stones and Quinn will tomorrow take turns to rock the turntables at the Miss Mqombothi 2018 at Mqombothi Sports Bar in Nkulumane, Bulawayo.
