Greatman, whose voice captured the hearts of many in Mhangura and Harare, told NewsDay Life & Style that the album is expected to hit the market tomorrow before a grand launch at the Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries (PHD) on a date to be announced.

“My apologies to all those who have been waiting for this album. The wait is over. I will move around with copies that are costing $1 (cash) and $2 (Ecocash) I want to market it first before launching it,” he said.

Greatman expressed gratitude to Sulumani Chimbetu, Pamela “Gonyeti” Zulu and Tapiwa Jera for helping him produce the album.

“I have been facing so many challenges, the biggest of which was lack of funds. As someone who has not yet won the promoters’ hearts, it was very difficult to release the album last year as I had earlier planned. Another challenge was that Sulu had been busy during the elections period so that saw us taking long to finish the song we did together,” he said.

“I would like to express my appreciation to those who stood with me during production stage and these include Gonyeti, Sulu, and Tapiwa. I deeply appreciate my fans’ support and dedication,” Greatman added.

The album, recorded by Masello Productions, has the songs Mwanakomana, Ndo…, Cheziya, Ciara, Jambwa Iroro, Mwanangu and Pandakazvarwa, which feature Sulu.

Greatman launched his second album Chikara Chemuno in September last year.
