Ntando told NewsDay Life & Style that comedians who will perform on the night have enough clean jokes in their arsenal to entertain merrymakers.

“The event is mainly about launching the recently signed Umahlekisa Comics and we have always wanted to build a wholly new comics line up and it’s finally happening. People have complained about dirty jokes and lack of new material, but we want to prove them wrong,” he said.

Ntando hinted that the jokes will touch on current issues, including the just concluded Constitutional Court (ConCourt) saga pitting MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa and President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

“My Lady, I refer you to Section 31 of the Umahlekisa Comedy Act 2013 sub-section 2, item 7 (Roman numeral),” Ntando said.

“If any comedian from the Umahlekisa stable repeats any and all jokes posted on any social media network, it will entitle any patron to a full refund.”

The line-up of performers will include Zwexy Mackena, Ckanyiso Dat Guy, Elando Da General, Tinaye Wayne, Maforty and Tbeatz.
