Director of the film, Shem Zemura, told NewsDay Life & Style yesterday that the entrance fee has been pegged at $10, with the film set to premier at Ster Kinekor Eastgate at 5pm.

“The red carpet event, which we had earlier on scheduled for August 23, is now taking place on August 31 at the same venue and time. We made this decision to give the best to people who will be coming for the Harare Agricultural Show,” he said.

“If you come to the premiere, you will have the opportunity to meet television stars, musicians and other celebrities.”

Zemura said the film presented parents with an opportunity to give their children a befitting back to school send-off a few days after the premiere.

“It’s more of a family event. It’s a comedy show, no curse words and so on. The event is coming a few days before schools open, so parents give your children a befitting back to school send-off. Come and have fun. Come and witness the best of local cinema,” he said.

Death and Other Complications, which was written by Bernard Sande, also features Gamuchirai Duve, Eddington Hatitongwe, Moses Kawara and Jo-Anne Chidochangu Tenga.
