Naimeck Mujaji (46) was not asked to plead when he appeared before magistrate Tilda Mazhande, who remanded him to May 4 on $50 bail.

It is the State’s case that on Tuesday, Mujaji deployed the complainant Takudzwa Madiro, who is a security guard at Arda Nijo Farm, to guard one of the cattle pens at around 6pm.

The State alleges at round 7pm, Mujaji went to Madiro’s place of residence, where the complainant’s wife, Barbra, was cooking in the kitchen and he began to propose love to her.

It is alleged Barbara sent a text message to her husband, who then rushed home in the company of one Elton Ncube.

The two allegedly found Mujaji still inside the house and they confronted him demanding to know the purpose of his visit.

A misunderstanding allegedly ensued between the two before Mujaji allegedly pulled his loaded service pistol and threatened to shoot the complainant.

Mujaji was then disarmed by one Phenious Mashamba, leading to his subsequent arrest.

Ropafadzo Botsh appeared for the State.
