CHIEF Justice Luke Malaba yesterday said the Mutare High Court building is now ready for use, adding the circuit court would help speed up the hearing of cases.
Malaba made the remarks after touring the building in the eastern border city in the company of various stakeholders, including officials from the Judicial Service Commission.

“We toured this building with a view to see what is on the ground on this magnificent building that has been built to provide facilities that meet the needs of all stakeholders, who are going to use it,” he said.
“The court is of high standards. The courtrooms are of international standards even the furniture and you cannot expect any better. The quality is impressive, it’s just answers to the wellness of the users, the building is user friendly.
“The court is now ready to serve its purpose and what is now left is to sit down and come up with a date and hand it to the people of Mutare and Manicaland,” Malaba added.
“We understand the need of people of Manicaland, the Mutare High Court has been bought to bring happiness to the people of Manicaland, especially to those who will come and seek justice,” he said.
