Stanley Mbengwa (31) was not asked to plead to the murder charge, when he appeared before Beitbridge magistrate, Langton Mkwengi.

Prosecutor, Munyonga Kuvarega told the court that on February 9, Mbengwa was at Juta One Village in Lutumba in Beitbridge, when he had a misunderstanding with the now-deceased, Titos Mbengwa over an unspecified issue.

Mbengwa then allegedly assaulted Titos, who died on admission at the Beitbridge District Hospital on February 12, leading to Mbengwa’s arrest.
