The Zvishavane-based side, who went up to 39 points after another mid-week win over Hwange at Maglas and, now need a draw against Yadah to ensure another dance in the top-flight league.

Wellington Taderera scored on the 21st minute for the visitors, following a built-up from a throw-in involving Richard Kawondera.

They held on to that goal with How Mine equalising through Adolf Muganyi five minutes after the break with a volley past goalkeeper Petros Moyo inside the box.

Substitute Kudakwashe Musharu put the gold miners in the lead in the 79th minute after rounding off Shabanie Mine defenders and firing past Moyo from the edge of the box.

But the resilient Shabanie Mine made it two-up eight minutes before the final whistle through Maxwell Murimi with a beautiful curler past goalkeeper Munyaradzi Diya.

With the match seemingly ending in a stalemate, Shabanie Mine’s Bruno Mtigo made a solo run four minutes into optional time and under challenge from two How Mine defenders poked the ball past an advancing Diya to get the crucial win for the visitors.
