The 26-year-old, who did a duet with Sandra Ndebele, Ingoma, told NewsDay that the programme had enabled artistes to realise that teamwork paid.

“We all need each other to grow in this industry if we are to build an empire that will last for generations. This was one of the first shows we needed and I believe more of these are needed and the corporate world will understand us better as creatives when we engage on business strategies,” he said.

Mzoe7 said he had benefited from the initiative and was now “richer in knowledge” regarding the music business.

“I learnt that we are all good in our different gifts but we can elevate if we push together and have one voice as artistes in Bulawayo,” he said.

Mzoe7 said he was currently working with Asaph in a project to be released ahead of the festive season, which he said was a dedication to “Live in Bulawayo” .

“Everyone performed well on the day and I feel a collabo with Umdumo will definitely do. Shout out to the #babeswemonthend video, Sabela Music for organising the event and also for believing in us artistes. Kudos to Skaiva, Murphy Cubic, for producing my new EP, Mooguvillage which I launched on the day,” he said.
