Amalgamated Rural Teachers’ Union of Zimbabwe, ARTUZ has received assurance from the team of incoming President ED Mnangagwa that Dokora won’t be part of next government.

We are therefore suspending the anti Dokora protests waiting for the appointment of new education Minister.

We have written to the incoming President ED Mnangagwa outlining the characteristics we expect for Ministers of Public Service and Education.

We wish Dokora well when he finally leaves our Education Ministry.

  1. lets say no to the new curriculum as a nation and cry for the return of cambridge exams in association with zimsec.Dokora bon voyage.

  2. This guy had no chance in hell of survival after getting involved in an altercation with ED strongest sidekick Mayor once upon a time, goodbye Dokora and your concepts of giving school children contraceptives ,condoms ,allowing cellphones at schools among other myriad of blunders.

  3. We must press for a Minister of Education that takes cognizance of the terrible conditions rural schools operate under. We need a plan that moves in steady steps towards improved services.

  4. My take is that we need an effective planning ministry. One of its outputs would be to quantify things like size of cabinet, technical skills assessment, matching skills to positions etc That way, I think we will start off with a very lean, effective & accountable government. This will mean retrenchment but improved productivity & accountability. People must not expect any favours or handouts, but must EARN promotion and positions and we need short performance-based contracts (5yrs). We need a govt that represents the level of education and dedication of the general hard-working Zimbabwean, not thieves, dealers and schemers. The latter must be weeded out asap.

  5. The new curriculum is not feasible in our set up where schools don’t have the same resources. I find it buffing how the rural schools without electricity, where supposed to go about this, worse with students expected to find most of their stuff. This curriculumn works in functional economies where all schools are well resourced.

  6. Dokora, Chihuri, Jonathan, Kasukuwere and Chombo were in the forefront of supporting the dictator making our life hard in the urban and rural areas. Now we say to Dokora start applying for a position as a teacher or otherwise you will go to your Moslem countries and stay there Zimbabwe will never be a Colony of Mugabe and family again.

  7. The new curiculum is undoubtably one of the greatest develpment in Zimbabwe education. It prepares learners for the coming of the 4th industrial Revolution. Inevitably there will always be slow adapters

    • The new curriculum was never a development because you and Dokora did not have the instruments to implement your programme. Introducing science subjects like physics and chemistry and assign a combined science teacher to teach those, employ a qualified teacher straight from college in the third term when the Form 3 students rarely understand the introduction to chem or physics and expect that student to sit for an examination next year in November. secondly, introduction of a coursework for every subject when the teachers themselves do not even know what course work is all about, coursework is supposed to be supervised and who will supervise the student. A lot of files for the coursework, if a child in the urban school is unable to buy the 20 files required, how about a child of a poor peasant in the rural area. I wonder whether you and your Dokora have children who are or were experiencing this unprogressive new curriculum. as much as you may see merit in your policy, you lacked the necessary instruments to do so in terms of human resources and educational facilities. in terms of science subject, we are talking of a school which does not have any science laboratory neither does it have manpower to supervise and ensure the highest level of safety for those students. It is sad that the former President did not bother to call for an inquiry in order to ascertain that the education system was not being dragged to the doldrums of irrelevancy. Wake up and stop looking at the outcome without having put in the necessary input. I will not dare speak of the primary school children who were made to perform beyond their mental capacity, maybe psychologists are better placed to tell you how. At least Mugabe will have an opportunity to know and understand how the country was being pulled down whilst he was being fed with ‘Zollyhood’ lies.

    • No one is disputing the relevance of the new curriculum going into the future. The problem is the implementation thereof, without a proper feasibility study. Chinonzi dzungu ndiko kuda zvakanaka asi usingakwanisi kuzviita.

This whole concept needs time and adequate preparation, It also need the full support of all stakeholders not just force it on people. If you look at how things are being done on the ground, you will notice that our education system was going into the drains.

  8. The entire Mugabe cabinet must demise and leave a free economically playing field. The entire Zec team must go etc, and need a cleaned up and vibrant every Zimbabwean to participate and get back into functioning the Zimbabwe everyone adores. This pinpointed ED Mnangagwa has Mugabe instincts for the entire 37 years of destruction, hence we need him to retire also. We need a new tried and tested party that has shown common sense in Zimbabwe that they can lead us from poverty and deliver.

  9. The worst minister ever. He should go with his shit curriculum. Task and projects making our children suffer.Allowing cellphones ans codoms heartless man

  11. I must admit that the way Dokora operated was pregnant will flaws to say the least. The confusion that exist in the primary and secondary education sector is testimony enough to why Dokora should go.

We don’t need people like Dokora destroying the fibre of our great beautiful Zimbabwe.
Kuwona maZimbabweans all over the world it’s bcoz of the educational legacy before Dokora decided to decimate our education system into smithereens.

    Hamba katshe vamandebvu Dokora.

We won’t bother ourselves remembering you. Rather you should be erased from beautiful Zimbabwe’s history books.

    Dokora the irrelevant
    Dokora the destroyer

  12. We say NO to this useless and time wasting curricullum. Thez no point at all in burdening the pupils with these useless so-called tasks and projects. Pupils no longer have the space to grasp important concepts contained in our syllabbii. Pliz spare the learners and teachers of this agony.

  13. Comment…Mr President, please just spare us Mr Dokora in your cabinet, he is causing a lot of heartache in our children, they are mainly focusing on these stupid projects, for what??? He is a big nuisance

  14. Dokora is saying its ok for us to teach pregnant form 2s and form 3s in class. What influence does that have on other young girls who want to focus on their education first. They simply tell themselves its ok to be pregnant at skul at the same time the teachers are preaching a message discouraging early teenage pregnacy, and also improper association is spelled out in the code of conduct but yo policies are contrary as they encourage both. Better uyendeee!!

  18. Ngaayende Dokora together with the rest of the SOB RGM crew ED included. Chii chitsva chingabuda pavari? Mazimbavha. General, do you why you can’t rid this country of criminals around the SOB RGM? Because you can’t use dirt to clean dirt around dirt. Mese na SOB RGM makafanana, muri mbavha. US$10 million kumba kwa Chombo, makasiya marii kwenyu mose? Ko kwa Chinamasa? Gono? Wicknel? Grace? Chiyangwa? ED? Obert?

But thank you good general for a job well done. Coup yenyu ino yemurika. But sungayiwo SOB RGM.

  19. Although the new curriculum have other burdensome sections, it is good at preparing students to be employment creaters rather than job seekers who will join the train of school leavers in complaining about unemployment. Denouncing his policies of allowing condoms and cellphones is unfounded, at least if they use condoms its better rather leaving students impregnating and infecting each other with sti’s, because our children are having sex. Just restrain Dokora a bit, its only that change is difficult to embrace.

  20. Former president vakatoti embrace the new curriculum. very sad hope the so called tasks and projects will be removed immediately

  21. dokora must go together with the newly appointed immature incompetent marujatalike headmaster at chipadze high.cipadze high must be saved it needs a competent and progressive thinking head like the one at chipindura high.
