The furniture was handed over to Matabeleland North Provincial Affairs minister Thokozile Mathuthu on Friday last week.

“This donation has come at an opportune time for us as we strive for excellent education to our child and improvement of infrastructure in our province. The same upgraded airport has brought employment creation in the province as well as boost the economy,” Mathuthu said.

Transport and Infrastructural Development deputy minister Michael Madanha said it was gratifying that the airport, dubbed “The Game Changer”, had made significant contribution to the growth of tourism since its commissioning.
