Log leaders Dynamos – three points clear of their rivals with 56 points from 27 matches – have a seemingly difficult trip to ZPC Kariba.
With closest challengers Ngezi Platinum and FC Platinum on 53 points each, Dynamos will be looking for a win to consolidate their lead at the top.
They welcome the pair of Carlos Rusere and vice-captain Obey Mwerahari, who have missed several games because of injury. Ngezi Platinum make the trip to Barbourfields for a date with Bulawayo City on Saturday, while FC Platinum travel to face Highlanders at the same venue on Sunday.
Chicken Inn, who are in fourth place with 51 points, have a tricky trip to Maglas – a stadium Shabanie Mine have turned into a virtual fortress.
Caps United might no longer have interest in the championship, but certainly they want a respectable finish and fourth place would be acceptable to their fans.
They host Triangle at the National Sports Stadium, hoping to claw up the ladder.
