Norman Mapeza’s side take on Bosso at Barbourfields Stadium, where the Erol Akbay-coached side shocked everyone with a 4-0 thumping of Chicken Inn.

Mapeza hopes to enhance his chances of winning a maiden Castle Lager Premier Soccer League championship as the season enters the home stretch, having won three of their last four encounters with the draw against Caps United the only blemish.

The two sides shared the spoils in their first league encounter at Mandava Stadium, but Mapeza admits that though Bosso have not hit a purple patch this season, they are always a tough opponent, especially when playing at home.

“In all the games we play, our aim is three points. That’s our motivation,” Mapeza said.

“It’s going to be a massive game for us considering that Highlanders have been playing well, they won against Chicken, but with us, it’s a different game. We just want three points.

”Highlanders are always tricky when playing at Babourfields, but we are up to give them stiff competition and collect maximum points.

“Only three points will ensure that we keep pushing in the title matrix, we are not trailing by many points so it’s better if we avoid dropping points unnecessarily.”

In their last league encounter Mapeza’s charges were held by Caps United at Mandava, but he believes they are still better placed to clinch the title.

“We are still in the race and we have a good chance to get our hands on that trophy despite that we dropped two points against Caps in our last game. We can win because everyone is motivated to get the title,” he said.

Bosso have been boosted by their win over Chicken which ended their seven-match winless streak and their tails are up once again.
