OPPOSITION Renewal Democrats of Zimbabwe (RDZ) leader, Elton Mangoma, has literally turned into a dead man walking after he was dumped by yet another top official, acting spokesperson, Patrick Sagandira, who defected to the MDC-T at the weekend.

Sagandira joins former RDZ spokesperson Pishai Muchauraya, who rejoined the MDC-T in July this year after their unceremonious departure in 2014 when then secretary-general, Tendai Biti broke ranks with Morgan Tsvangirai.

MDC-T Manicaland provincial spokesperson, Trevor Saruwaka confirmed Sagandira’s return.

‘’It’s a happy day for the MDC-T family, especially our former comrades, our president Morgan Tsvangirai has opened the door for everyone,’’ he said.

Sagandira said he was happy to rejoin the MDC-T, adding he would not mind being reduced to an ordinary card-carrying member. “What I realised is that the only enemy of the country is President Robert Mugabe and I don’t mind being accepted as an ordinary cardholder,’’ he said

MDC-T provincial chairman, David Chimhini welcomed the opposition party’s “prodigal son”.

‘’He is our prodigal son and the father has accepted the prodigal son. I am urging party members that they should not harass and label him names,’’ he said.
