“As Zimbabwe Heritage Trust who specialises in teaching leadership clusters on the heritage of Zimbabwe which are mainly issues of tangible and intangible resources. We have realised the importance of artistes to our society hence organising such a workshop in partnership with Zimbabwe Music Rights Association with the need for discussion on content,” he said.

“Artists are opinion makers and have been identified for this kind of workshop because they are an important group for transmitting and immortalising the massage of national consciousness.

Phuti said the workshop seeks to achieve in having attendees become more aware of their history and identity through giving graphic presentations on Zimbabwe. This will be precluded by a presentation by a Doctor of Metaphysics, Augustine Tirivangana on the role of music in nation building.

“This workshop is among others that have been conducted throughout the country since 2010, targeting opinion leaders such as provincial leadership, district leadership, literature students, teachers, headmasters, writers, Arex officers, political and community leaders, university students and church leaders among others,” he said.
