The victims, aged 17 and 19 years who are also cousins, were allegedly abused after they were given a lift by the suspects at Chemhondoro Primary School.

Although acting provincial police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Tendai Mwanza was unreachable for comment yesterday, reliable sources said the incident occurred on July 28. It is reported that a red Toyota Raum car, with four female occupants, pulled over and the complainants sat between two women in the rear seat.

After securing the vehicle doors, the driver allegedly called for “action”, resulting in one of the females spraying an unknown substance on the faces of the complainants, causing them to feel dizzy.

When they regained consciousness two hours later, the teenagers discovered that they had been sexually abused and dumped at the same spot.

The matter was reported at Musami Police Station.

The suspects are still at large.

The case came hardly a month after a Macheke teacher was allegedly kidnapped and sexually abused for several days by three women. He was later dumped along the highway and was admitted at Wedza District Hospital.
