King Letsie III touched down at Harare International Airport in the afternoon and was welcomed by President Robert Mugabe, Vice-Presidents Emmerson Mnangagwa and Phelekezela Mphoko, service chiefs, top government and Zanu PF officials.

At the airport, the King received a 21-gun salute before he inspected the guard of honour mounted in his honour by a quarter-guard from the presidential wing of the Zimbabwe National Army.

Mugabe was last night scheduled to host a State banquet for the Lesotho king, who will today visit the National Heroes’ Acre before he flies to Victoria Falls ahead of a luncheon on the Zambezi cruise in the company of the First Family.
