You have the ability, skill and the expertise to turn yourself into a global champion. A champion whom all the people will always love to be associated with. A champion who has the capacity to totally change the way you do anything.
Let nature share a lesson with you. Learn something from trees. All the trees you see today were at one time just ordinery seeds. Remember the potential of any seed cannot be predicted. It cannot be correctly calculated. You can’t foretell the number of fruits that will come out of that seed you are holding. By merely looking at a seed you will never know and tell again how many people will benefit from it. But all this data is just kept as a secret in that little seed. It’s there, its only that its not revealed.
This is how your life can be. You are seed, that if planted you can blossom into a huge forest. A forest that will be clustered with thick vegetation. Yes you can be that. It is simply possible.
Relax a bit, let’s chew this short life-changing story together. A certain wiseman decided to take a walk into the forest. On his way he was accompanied by his disciple. As they moved into the middle of the jungle they got to a certain home. In that home they found a poor young family. Indeed they were impoverished. Very poor to be precise.
Poverty was written all over their faces. They were poor as the word implies in its truest sense. So he asked how they made a living since they were stationed at the epicentre of the jungle which seemed to be having no commercial activity. Their response was: “We only have one cow which we milk.”
The milk was the only source of income they had. When they got the milk, some of it they consumed while the rest was sold. In return, this helped them to get cash which was used to finance their needs.
As they were explaining their sorrowful condition, the wise man was just listening attentively.
After this discussion the wise man decided to leave together with his disciple. Soon after they had walked few kilometres, he stopped and asked his disciple to go back and push that only cow they had so that it could fall from the steep cliff. Astonished by this move the disciple paused to seek clarification.
This was surprising because the two had also enjoyed the milk they got from this same cow. The disciple tried to resist the idea, but his master still insisted on this seemingly cruel move. Finally the disciple had to abide.
He did exactly that and came back with a fallen face because of this disappointment. After that their journey continued as planned.
Years later the wise man returned again with his disciple. To their amazement everything in that home had changed.
The couple had built a beautiful house. Their previously impoverished life was now carpeted on a flowery bed of success. They were now enjoying every moment of their life. They now enjoyed instead of enduring.
Success had now played good music to their ears. Joy was their diet from morning to evening time. Their happiness could not be hidden.
There was a clearly marked transformation. Interestingly this quick transformation did not surprise the wise man.
So it was the disciple who had more questions than answers. He decided to ask them what had brought this change.
The couple then said, last time when you came we had a cow that used to help us to earn a living. Unfortunately it died. So after its death we had to come up with other means of survival. We abandoned our comfort zone. And managed to come up with other ways that helped us to take this nosedive turnaround. The good part was everything changed. Remember all mediocre limits are all self-imposed. They are not real.
In all this the disciple was supposed to also master what Erica Jong said: “The trouble is, if you don’t risk anything, you risk more.”
That’s a mouthful. It’s yours to digest. That’s what you are. The potential to change things for the better is within you. You don’t need a rocket scientist to tell you this. It needs no one to bring that change. It only needs you. You are the only person who can make the clock to tick for your life.
Stop being a cry baby. Never let people feel pity for you. You are made of sterner stuff. Be a fighter. Be wiser.
Don’t let circumstances take you to hell and back. Move forward. Engage in a solid start and pull a trigger. It can be done. Be blessed.
