The party’s provincial youth leader, Mubuso Chinguno, announced the decision at an extraordinary provincial youth executive meeting in Mutare.

‘’We have an issue of Kudzi Madhara. We suspended him after one or two cases he was facing. But after the suspension we looked at the behaviour of Madhara,’’ he said

‘’l think most of you have been seeing him at our rallies and he has shown remorse, it’s a learning curve, most of you, have learnt something from Madhara’s case, and he apologised that he made a mistake,’’ he said.

‘’I think he is not going to do it again, but we have demoted him from his position. He will become the deputy, this is our party and he is now part of us. In Zanu PF we forgive if you are remorseful,’’ he said.

Madhara was acquitted of the bribery charge by a Rusape magistrate last year ,and he said he was happy that Zanu PF had lifted his suspension.

‘’l am very happy with the decision that was made by our provincial youth executive. They have shown confidence in me and l am going to make a contribution in developmental projects and l am happy the courts cleared me. Suspension or no suspension, my heart is with Zanu PF,’’ he said.
