Runonzi Rudo literally became an anthem and topped the charts a few years ago, with its video also doing well on music video charts, propelling the duo to great heights, and they hope they will reignite the magic with their latest offering.

This time, they have joined forces on a song titled Chandinoda Moyo Wako, which Musarurwa wrote.

In an interview, Musarurwa said the project is fan-driven, after their followers requested something fresh from them.

“We have been rehearsing the song and hopefully before end of this week we will be in the studio to record the track,” he said.

“We had to do another joint project because our fans across the world have been requesting us to do so.

“I am confident that we will match the standard set by the hit song Runonzi Rudo. We are ready to deliver.”

The song will be the third for the duo, who also came together for the track Garimoto off Musarurwa’s album Gogodera.

Musarurwa said Chandinoda Moyo Wako is a song that tells a story of a man pleading for a second chance from his ex-lover.

However, despite still having feelings for the man, the ex-lover is afraid to reconcile.

“The track will be accompanied by a video. I enjoy working with Pah and I am confident that our fans will like the song,” Musarurwa said.
