The album, Holy Psalms Vol 1, will carry 10 video songs off the albums released since 2011.
The Handina Mhaka singer yesterday said it was high time he releases a video album as he has been pressurised to do so by his legion of fans around the country.
“After a long time without releasing videos we had to give in to pressure from our fans who, through fan clubs and social media platforms, were begging us to drop more videos,” Shumba said.
“The fans have spoken and we do not have to starve them. We have done videos for four songs already,” Shumba said, adding that they had so far done videos for the songs Mapisarema, Step by Step, Zvapera and Hama.
The project is being handled by Kunashe Studios in Mutare.
Shumba last released a DVD album in 2010 off the album Ishe Wazvose for the songs Vana Sesu, Kurwa Kwakanakaa, Handina Mhaka, Varombo, Ndangariro and Zita.
