DYNAMOS midfielder, Brett Amidu (pictured) is on the brink of a switch to FC Platinum ahead of next season, with reports suggesting he could seal a deal as early as this week.

Amidu’s contract with the Glamour Boys runs out on December 31, and his handlers have opened negotiations with the Zvishavane-based side for a possible transfer.
The player’s manager, George Deda confirmed there were talks going on regarding the transfer of Amidu to FC Platinum.
“I can’t say much at this stage, but there are talks going on. Amidu’s contract with Dynamos comes to an end on December 31, so there is a possibility of him going to FC Platinum. They (FC Platinum) have shown interest, but there is nothing that has been agreed yet,” he said.
FC Platinum, who finished second in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League race behind Caps United, are looking to conduct their transfer business early and Amidu tops their priority list.
The midfielder has been one of the stand out performers in a largely poor season for Dynamos, finishing fifth in the just ended campaign.
But he could be the first player to leave the team, with reports that several senior players are on their way out, as the cash-strapped Dynamos have little prospects of securing funds for signing-on fees any time soon.

Dynamos are struggling to raise funds to sign players for the 2017 season. Goalkeeper, Tatenda Mukuruva is owed signing on fees from the previous deal and chances of him staying at the Glamour Boys are next to nothing, as his contract also comes to an end on December 31.
With the Warriors goalkeeper set to travel with the national team to the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Gabon next month it is highly likely he could be snapped up by foreign clubs if he does well at the tournament.
Several other players, among them Soccer Star of the Year finalist, Godknows Murwira, defender, Ocean Mushure and skipper, Stephen Alimenda’s current deals expire at the end of this month.
BancABC used to inject $80 000 into the Harare giants’ coffers every season for signing-on fees, but that was scrapped off last season. Dynamos’ deal with the bank comes to an end at the end of the month.
With reports suggesting there has not been any word from the bank over the possibility of extending the marriage, Dynamos could find it difficult again in the transfer market.
Just before the onset of the 2016 season, DeMbare lost key players, Ronald Chitiyo and Blessing Moyo to Harare City, while their top targets moved elsewhere, as the club struggled to raise funds to sign the players. The Harare giants also lost captain, Augustine Mbara to South African club, Highlands Park, while former ZPC Kariba forward, Raphael Manuvire was set to sign for Dynamos only for the Harare giants to lose out to Harare City.
Dynamos have in the past been blamed for failure to retain their key players, with critics pointing out that they wait until the expiry of the contracts to start negotiations.
