The video, which was directed by Simba Gee, also features female dance outfit Bunjiwe, beat boxer Pro Beats, DJ Tamuka of Kenako and Winky D’s drummer, Del Roy Scara.

Mac Dee told NewsDay that it was exciting that the artistes were able to blend with different types of sound.

“The artistes demonstrated that they are ready to work with different types of music sound. It was very exciting and it was good to work with new artistes like Dobba Don, Celsius and Gary Tight and his father, Willom Tight,” he said.

The video also features artistes whose vocals were added onto the instrumental from different angles.

“We want to deal with the issue of competition among artistes. Instead of competing, they need to complement each other when they sing on the same platform, like this kind of a music riddim,” Mac Dee said.

The producer said he sought to equip artistes by allowing them to work together and sing on a single beat, bringing out a new dimension to music.

Mac Dee said plans were underway to do a follow-up riddim that would also feature several artistes, especially upcoming talent.

“I intend to go where they are, like in Mutare, Gweru and Bulawayo. I want to allow them to have an opportunity of a lifetime by creating a compilation of songs on this project, the recording will come with a small amount of money,” he said.

He urged young talented artistes from across the country to come and try their luck.
