LEADING comedy production house, Bustop TV, is due to hold its second anniversary celebrations in grand style at a Harare hotel on November 26, where some top local comedians and musicians, such as Jah Prayzah, Doc Vikela, Ba Shupi, Pro Beatz and Zambezi News, are expected to perform.

Lucky Aaroni, the co-founder and producer of the comedy house, yesterday said preparations were on course and the milestone would give them an opportunity to reflect on their journey in the industry.
“The comedians are all booked and have already started rehearsing for the show. We have also distributed fliers and posters,” he said.
“The anniversary is a celebration of all the ups and downs we have had in the last two years.”
Aaroni promised their fans a great day, as the comedians were fired up.
“In our journey, we have learnt that teamwork is the only way a brand can grow. Individualism does not work and the power of collaboration is magical,” he said, adding that Samantha “Gonyeti” Kureya and Sharon “Maggie” Chideu will also be part of the activities.
Bustop TV is an Internet video start-up formerly known as P.O. Box and recently rebranded to Bustop TV in order to avoid confusion with P.O Box Reloaded, the breakaway comedy skit creation led by comedians Bhutisi and Kedha.
