The pageant will be running under the theme Modelling With A Heart for Charity, following auditions held last Saturday.
The colourful auditions attracted male and female models from all Rotaract clubs in the country.
Pageant director, Michelle Bonga, said the auditions paved way for the major event scheduled for next Saturday.
“The event was the first stage since we were looking for 26 models, both female and male, that will battle it out at the major event scheduled for Saturday,” she said.
The event is set to expose Zimbabwean models to charity initiatives and how they can make a difference in the community.
Rotaract Club of Avondale president, Collins Nyamadzawo said the event was one of the biggest on their calendar.

“The event aims at exposing models to have a heart towards charity and this is one of our biggest events, since we are going to paint Melford Old People’s Home for our grannies and the finalists will be part of the project,” he said.
The club services director, Elton Shumba, expressed gratitude to their sponsors for making the event possible.
“We went through thick and thin to make this event come true and I would like to thank our sponsors, On the Roof, for coming through and giving us the venue. This pageant is going to be bigger and better next year, as we are going to make it a continental event, where we are going to host Mr and Miss Rotaract Africa,” he said.
