GOSPEL music sensation Takudzwa Mutukwa, of the Munerudo fame, has released two singles titled, Vavengi Varipo and Miracle Money, respectively.

The Kuwadzana-raised musician told NewsDay that he wrote the songs after getting divine inspiration.
“I was inspired to sing Vavengi Varipo after observing that in life, everyone is surrounded by enemies, but for God to confound those enemies, he raises a person in the midst of his enemies, for example, like David, he was surrounded by his enemies, but God lifted him up to be king,” he said.
Mutukwa recorded his first single I Will Praise in 2015 and it has received its fair share of air play on all radio stations. Soon after, he released the video for Varipo Vavengi.
He said the song Miracle Money was based on the scripture in which Jesus sent Peter to the river bank to catch a fish and find money in its mouth to pay temple tax.
Mutukwa said he witnessed people receiving “miracle money” at his church, after which he decided to pen the song. His debut album, Munerudo, has enjoyed a fair share of airplay and the musicians has shared the stage with various top gospel acts, including Sebastian Magacha, Michael Mahendere, Flem B, ZimPraise, Pastor G, Temba “Thembalami” Tagwirei as well as the United Families International Church Choir from 2008 to 2015 and also South Africa’s Benjamin Dube.
The song Miracle Money was produced by Oskid, while I Will Praise and Varipo Vavengi were produced by McDonald “Mac Dee” Chidavaenzi and recorded as his Eternity Studios.
