The suspect, who could not be named to protect the victim’s identity, is alleged to have sometime in March this year summoned his daughter into his bedroom where he put on a condom before raping her once.

The alleged rapist appeared before magistrate Florence Nago, facing four counts of rape and was remanded in custody to today for trial. Prosecutor Lloyd Mavhisa told the court that on an unknown date, but in March this year the suspect repeatedly raped the girl until she spilled the beans to her neighbours, leading to his arrest
