The event, the first of its kind in the dormitory town, brings together 20 of the country’s best wheel spinners at the festival which kicked off last night and ends tomorrow.

Tanza Centre resident wheel-spinners — DJ Magoudada and DJ Vasco — will lead top wheel-spinners who include United Kingdom-based DJ Templeman, DJ SD, DJ Rawse, DJ Browns, Abra Simms, Power FM’s DJ L-Roy, DJ Stalla and Lukie Dee.

The line-up also includes DJ Ajila, Back Yard Vibes, Dean Ultra, DJ Eve, John Cole, DJ Juice, ZiFM Stereo’s Lady K, DJ Biggs, DJ Ice, DJ Simak and LIL RDS.

One of the organisers of the event DJ Vasco said apart from the DJs, the event would be graced by musicians such as Extra Large, Taurai Mandebvu, Eve Kawadza and Ninja Kid.

“This is a three-day music and beer festival that has the support of the corporate world. We have corporates like Ecocash, Ecosure, Steward Bank, Carex, RG Cigarette, Sky Vodka and Cape Discovery who will be exhibiting and running promotions especially Saturday [today] and Sunday [tomorrow],” said DJ Vasco.

DJ Vasco said beer prices would also be reduced to wholesale prices.

“There will be a lot of prizes to be won. On Sunday it will be a family show and we are inviting people from all walks of life to be part of this once in a lifetime event,” he said.
