Little-known Gweru based hip-hop musician, Siah Hot – real name Josiah Mudzviti- has added his voice in condemning fake prophets and lamenting the growing moral decadence through his newly released single, Nyika Yakuguma.

The song, which he did with another upcoming artiste, Shalla, is a call to God to use His divine powers to stop diseases and end conflicts at a time when Zimbabwe is faced with growing dissent over government’s failure to turn around the country’s spiralling economy and tame corruption, among many other failures.

A telecommunications student, Siah Hot has previous releases such as y African queen, Kurwizi, Shinga and Rudo Rwevabereki, which he said were well received by the younger generation.

Typical of young musicians who venture into the industry without adequate resources and professional guidance, Siah Hot said he is in search of a H producer and funder for his musical project. – SHORAI MURWIRA
