Highly-rated midfielder Wisdom Mutasa has completed his move to Dynamos after receiving his clearance from former club ZPC Kariba, making him eligible to feature for the Harare giants in their must-win Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match against How Mine at Rufaro Stadium on Thursday.

Dynamos yesterday said they received the Zimbabwe Under-23 captain’s clearance late on Friday, on the eve of their reverse league fixture against ZPC Kariba, but could not select him for the match.
But Mutasa has been training with the club ever since after penning a one-year deal, making him available for selection on Thursday.
Mutasa decided to terminate his contract with ZPC Kariba to play under his father Lloyd at Dynamos after the Kariba side reneged on their promise to pay him his signing-on fees.
Despite having agreed terms with Dynamos three weeks ago, ZPC Kariba had been dragging their feet over the player’s clearance with reports suggesting they didn’t want him to play against them in the back-to-back clashes.
Dynamos treasurer Webster Marechera yesterday confirmed the developments, saying they were happy to have finally secured their man.
“The clearance finally came late on Friday. We suspect they (ZPC Kariba) didn’t want him to play against them. The player was very eager to join Dynamos and we are happy that they have finally cleared him,” Marechera said.

Dynamos have drawn in their last three matches against How Mine and ZPC Kariba whom they played in back-to-back clashes having gone on a five-match winning streak.
While they remain unbeaten in the past nine matches, the Glamour Boys have been struggling in front of goal in the last three matches. They have scored an accumulative total of 12 goals in the campaign so far with the goals coming usually against lightweights including Mutare City and Border Strikers.
Their front line has lacked potency against formidable opposition, teams in the top half of the league table.
The draw against ZPC Kariba took their points tally to 26, 10 behind leaders FC Platinum, with Caps United and Highlanders in second and third on 32 and 31 points respectively.
And the arrival of Mutasa is set to bring competition in an already over-staffed midfield department that also has the likes of Denver Mukamba, Brett Amidu, Simbarashe Gorogojo, Carlos Rusere, Dominic Mukandi, Stephen Alimenda, Tichaona Chipunza and Valentine Ndaba.
Dynamos team manager Richard Chihoro said they would be gunning for three points after registering draws in their last three matches.
“How Mine are a very difficult side with experienced players, but after going for three matches without a win, we are more than determined to secure maximum points,” said Chihoro.
Dynamos desperately need a victory on Thursday to close the gap between them and leaders FC Platinum in their bid to wrest the championship.
