Tocky told NewsDay yesterday that he was surprised when he started receiving a series of calls on Monday morning.

“I do not know how and where it is coming from because it’s now three days that I have been receiving calls from people asking me if I am okay,” he said.

Tocky, who was early last year alleged to have committed suicide, said he was not worried, as he was now accustomed to such rumours.

“I am now used to it. It is not the first time it has happened it is mere lies that are just created on WhatsApp, but it is no big deal,” he said.

Meanwhile, the chanter, who recently launched his second album, said he was now focusing on strengthening his music, as he has released four new videos.

“I have released videos for the songs Tushiri, Attack Kushuga, Wandigonera and Handichadzoreka, as I focus on making my music better,” he said.

Some of the songs on the new album are gaining airplay on local radio stations and unlike his first release last year, the musician seems to have revisited his old style and has synergised it with a new rhythm.
