Lumumba last week swore at Mugabe and dared the veteran politician to unleash State security agents on him before he went into hiding.

Police spokesperson Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba said Lumumba handed himself over at Harare Central Police Station at around 2pm in the company of his lawyer Norman Mugiya. Lumumba was remanded in custody and is expected to appear in court today for allegedly undermining or insulting the Office of the President.
