Informed sources yesterday said the DeMbare technical team headed by Lloyd Mutasa wants to add the two players as well as Wisdom Mutasa, who is only waiting for clearance from ZPC Kariba to complete his move to the former champions.

Assistant coach Murape Murape was not at liberty to discuss any other arrivals except that of Mutasa, but it is understood the club is running around to complete the deals before the window slams shut.

Machazani was part of the Highlanders squad that won the championship in 2006 and went on to play in the Caf Champions League in 2007 where Bosso engaged Egyptian giants Al-Ahly playing out a 0-0 draw at Barbourfields before losing the away match 2-0 to bow out of the tournament.

Sadiki played for Gunners and later FC Platinum. He is said to be a free agent now after his contract with TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo expired.

He was part of the Warriors squad that played at the African Nations Championships in South Africa where they reached the knockout stage.

“We are about to finalise with one or two players, but we are yet to meet with the management so that it can approve the deals,” Murape said.

“But we have agreed on almost everything. We are now just waiting to hear from the management. By tomorrow (today) we should have a clear position. Club treasurer Webster Marechera is away at the moment. He will be available tomorrow and then everything will be clear.”

Dynamos are also hoping Mutasa will be cleared before the weekend to enable him to start playing under his father Lloyd.

Murape said Mutasa’s move had been stalled by his former club ZPC Kariba, who are yet to issue the clearance allowing him to move on.

“Everything else on Mutasa has been done. We are just waiting for his clearance from ZPC Kariba. We suspect they didn’t want him to play in the weekend game so they have been dragging their feet over his clearance. He could be released a day before we leave for Kariba. But we thought they could just have set a condition in the clearance that he should not play against ZPC Kariba this weekend. The player is not training and what we need is for him to start training,” Murape said.

The midfielder forced through an exit from ZPC Kariba claiming that the club had failed to pay him his signing-on fees having signed for the club at the beginning of the current season.

Dynamos are set to travel to Kariba on Friday for their clash against the home team at Nyamhunga on Saturday hoping to secure maximum points to keep pace with the log leaders. The Glamour Boys were held to a goalless draw in the reverse fixture at Rufaro before the break. They are in fourth position on the league table with 25 points, eight adrift of leaders FC Platinum, with Highlanders and Caps United on 30 and 29 points respectively.

DeMbare played to successive draws in their last two matches, having gone on a five-match winning streak before that, which lifted them back into title contention having endured a bad start to the campaign.
