Africa’s queen of comedy last year left Harare in stitches with her sold-out performance at 7 Arts Theatre, Kansiime is coming back with her partner Cotilda.

Local comedians Q the Boss and Pro Beatz have been roped in as supporting acts.

Event organisers Xtra Time Entertainment spokesperson, Tonderai Mwaita, told NewsDay yesterday that their decision to bring back Kansiime was necessitated by public demand.

“Kansiime is indeed the Queen of African Comedy and we have been answering calls from comedy enthusiasts to bring her back,” Mwaita said.

“We understand the difficulties being faced by the public regarding cash shortages so for the convenience of fans they can pay using cash, bank-card swipe or via Eco-cash.”

He said fans should expect a “quality experience” that will help them forget their troubles on “this night of good fun and good vibes.”

Advance tickets are selling from Reflections Gift Shop branches in Avondale, Sam Levy’s village and ZB Life Towers in the city centre via swipe, cash or transfer via ecocash.
