“The Angel of Death visited our household and stole our son. No amount of words can bring him back. No amount of tears can ever quench our loss,” wrote Doc Vikela on his Facebook wall.

“My hope and prayer is for my wife to get through this phase because the devastation it has caused is too much to bear… All the excitement and preparation and wait is all vanished! No words can ever explain our loss except to ask for God’s guidance! Will forever miss the prospect of what could have been! So long champ!” read the post which did not disclose further information.

Social media network Facebook was yesterday awash with condolence messages as hundreds of fans and fellow artists took to the comments section to comfort the family.

The incident is a sad recall of fellow comic Carl Ncube whose wife had a miscarriage last year.
