The former Highlanders forward, who has become an influential figure in the Dynamos attack, is still hospitalised though he did not sustain serious injuries.

Mbara said they will be out to lift his spirits with a win away to Hwange.

“We will miss him (Ndaba),” Mbara said. “He has settled well at Dynamos. He is a fantastic player who has added value to the team. It’s a must-win game against Hwange and we are going there to play for him. We are a team that stands and falls together. If we win against Hwange, it will be a confidence booster.”

The Dynamos defender also said chips were not down after they lost to Caps United last Sunday.

“We have since got over it (the loss). If anything, it has given us the resolve. We are one family and remain united in what we want to achieve. We might have started slowly, but we know with unity and hard work, we can achieve our goal,” Mbara said.

Mbara, who had been sidelined owing to injury, said he had now recovered and was ready to play a part as Dynamos bid for the championship after agonisingly missing it to Chicken Inn last term.

The match against Hwange could decide the future of Portuguese coach Paulo Jorge Silva.

The Dynamos leadership had set the technical team a target of nine points in their three matches against Mutare City, Caps United and Hwange, but DeMbare have only managed three points from two matches.

As Dynamos step into the Colliery at the weekend, they know the fate that could befall their coaches if they fail to win.

The Portuguese though remains defiant, insisting that there is no such ultimatum even though his bosses went public about it. The club leadership said they would resist any pressure to make a decision before the match against Hwange.
