In the past Macheso has introduced many dance routines among them Borrowdale dance, Zora Butter, Kochekera and Tora Bute dances.

The Zora Butter dance became a favourite with many music lovers making it the national dance, before it was also borrowed by players from Harare giants Dynamos Football Club during their victory celebrations.

Speaking to NewsDay, Macheso’s manager Tich Makahamadze urged fans to come in their numbers to sample the new dance routine.

“There is going to be a lot of surprises for our fans on Thursday (tomorrow) at Dandaro Inn, Showgrounds as we stage our welcome back show. We have a new dance that we unveiled over the weekend in South Africa that will be performed locally to our local fans for the first time,” Makahamadze said.

“The new dance thrilled thousands of fans who attended our shows in South Africa and on Thursday it will be presented to our local fans.”

The Madhawu hitmaker and his Orchestra Mberikwazvo starved their local fans last weekend as they travelled across the Limpopo to launch their Tsoka Dzerwendo at Welkom Free State and Ekurhuleni Boksburg Hotel, respectively.

Macheso and his band who arrived in the capital yesterday will share the stage with several artistes among them rising Andy Muridzo at the show themed Macheso Welcome From South Africa.
