Popularly known as Mr Kata, the 27-year-old musician said the video, which features Zima award nominee, Alaina was mixed and mastered by DJ Wexey.

Plans were underway to have it played on national television, he said.

“The video has had over a thousand views on YouTube and several likes on Facebook, less than two weeks after being posted,” Kata said.

The artiste said the track We Both Lose was inspired by everyday life experiences and social events.

“The video is inspired by social life events, love, relationships and hard work. The track shows people that they are not the only ones that go through hard times. We fall and rise up,” he said.

“I’m not doing this for fame although I just borrowed some business ideas and brought them into music. I can safely say I am aiming higher to reach those heights. If you look at the video, it’s of good quality.”

Kata encouraged aspiring artistes not to take their music as a hobby or just for fame, but should treat their work with respect.

“We need to brand our music and get support from promoters for our music to be recognised in other countries,” he said.
