Highlanders will be away once again at their favourite hunting ground on Sunday, where they beat Tsholotsho 2-1 in yet another derby last week.

“We train side-by-side at Barbourfields (with Bulawayo City),” Zulu said yesterday.

“What is more important in a derby is about your players. What will be important on the day is who has got players who want more than the others. It can be the coach’s match in the second half after he has studied his opponent, but it’s more about whether the players turn up. It’s about personal pride. It’s about who walks tall on the streets of Bulawayo on Monday bragging of collecting three points.”

Highlanders have won two of their three matches in the league so far, also beating Hwange 3-0 at the Colliery and have one defeat to FC Platinum.

Knox Mutizwa has scored three goals in two matches, with the other Highlanders goals coming from Bruce Kangwa, Rahman Kutsanzira and Prince Dube.

Bulawayo City are yet to collect maximum points after playing a 2-2 draw with How Mine in their first match, losing the second one 0-1 to Tsholotsho and holding ZPC Kariba 1-1 at Nyamhunga.

Beating the City of Kings giants will be a big boost for Bulawayo City, who have quite a number of former Highlanders players in their ranks that include Mthulisi Maphosa, Mkhokheli Dube, Lewis Ncube, Trevor Ndlovu and goalkeepers Ndodona Sibanda and Archford Katsande.
