Total Zimbabwe has announced 10 finalists under a programme meant to support local entrepreneurs.

The finalists under the “Startupper of the Year by Total” challenge have to confirm that they wish to remain in consideration, which would allow them to receive coaching to help them prepare their oral presentations to the jury.
The finalists are Tawanda Chikosi, Tanaka Chiromo, Mutsawashe Chitando, Chiedza Kambasha, Musaida Mercy Manyuchi, Langton Tonderai Mujati and Tawanda Musvaire. Others include Mkhululi Ncube, Lungelo Ndhlovu and Victor Tafadzwa Watambgwa.
The “Startupper of the Year by Total” challenge is held in 34 African countries and is part of Total’s overall policy of supporting the socioeconomic development of all its host countries worldwide.
Total is a global integrated energy producer and provider, a leading international oil and gas company, and the world’s second-ranked solar energy operator.
The final selection will be completed by March 15 and a maximum of three winners of the 2016 “Startupper of the Year by Total” challenge in Zimbabwe will be announced.

The winners will receive financial aid to develop their projects, as well as customised support and coaching from Total Zimbabwe. They will also be honoured at an official awards ceremony.
