Daniel (31) who leads the Gospel Hurricanes outfit will be launching the album on March 25 in the capital after having been part of Mathias’ group for a number of years.

In an interview with NewsDay, Daniel said his mission is to spread the gospel through music and that he is part of a music family who together as siblings are mandated to release songs.

“I am not competing with my brother, we are one family. Our music beats are different. Music is an inborn thing, we were born a music family. Our family is a complete band on its own. I only recorded my debut album in 2014 Najesu Zvinoita and I have returned with another one to be launched on March 25.

“The title of the latest album speaks for itself, it contains heavy rain of blessings,” said Daniel.

Some of the songs on the album produced by Charles Ayibeki at Devine Records include Serious Business, Rwendo Namwari, Signature YaMwari, Usacheuke and Check Your Time.

Mathias said he is happy that his brother is growing in the gospel music industry.

“I am happy for my brother.

I am totally behind his latest album and wish him well,” he said.

The two have been sharing the stage in most live performances especially during the Prophetic, Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries’ services in Waterfalls, with Mathias giving his elder brother an opportunity to prove his mettle.

Mathias also featured twice in Daniel’s debut album.
