AFTER failing to agree terms with Highlanders, former Dynamos youth striker Thomas Kadyaridzire has set his sights on joining Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) champions Chicken Inn, where he has been training for two weeks.

Kadyaridzire, who turns 19 in June, signed three years with Dynamos last year, but did not get enough game time and his manager Gibson Mahachi moved him to Bulawayo.
Chicken Inn chairman Lifa Ncube confirmed the champions are interested in the Under-20 Young Warriors striker and they are registering him for the 2016 season.
“We are signing him and we will be registering him with the PSL with four of our juniors in the developmental quota. He is an exciting young striker,” Ncube said.
Coach Joey Antipas is interested in the young forward.
“He was brought to us a couple of weeks ago. We are still assessing him, but most likely we are taking him into our juniors’ slot,” Antipas said. Mahachi also confirmed that they were close to tying up a deal for the player at the GameCocks.

“He (Kadyaridzire) had signed three years with Dynamos last year, but we have reached an agreement that they should release him, I should be getting his clearance tomorrow (today). We could not reach an agreement with Highlanders and I moved him to Chicken Inn. We are now finalising the deal with Chicken Inn,” Mahachi said.
Highlanders are believed to have wanted to use him in their Division One side which was promoted last year from the Zifa Bulawayo Province Division Two League.
Kadyaridzire, a product of Total Football Academy in Harare, shone during the African Union Sports Council Region 5 Under-20 Youth Games in December 2014, where he finished the tournament as Zimbabwe’s top scorer with four goals.
Dynamos immediately snatched him up last year and he signed a three-year contract, renewable annually, but did not use him regularly.
He played three minutes in the 1-1 draw against Highlanders in a league match at Barbourfields in July last year.
Antipas said Zambian striker Trust Gomezani Mkandawire (21) had not made the grade at Chicken Inn after training with club for a few weeks. “He is not fitting into our criteria. We are not going to sign him,” he said.
