AMHVoices:Is Mujuru a blessing in disguise?

ZimPF is a progeny of Zanu PF, so a hyena never gives birth to a sheep. Is she truly meaning or is she just pretending as a politician trying to get votes from the majority of Zimbabweans?

Well, in relation to the recently launched Zimbabwe People First (ZimPF), which is comprised of former Zanu PF members who were axed from the party and its leader Joice Mujuru, should the people of Zimbabwe applaud and ululate for its formation?

Can a hyena turn into a sheep? The Bible says they come as sheep, but in their hearts they are hyenas. The question at hand here is whether Mujuru has adopted a new ideology that is different from that of Zanu PF. Does the party have something new to offer to the majority of Zimbabweans who are deeply trapped in poverty? ZimPF should adopt a new dictionary and their perspective of society different from that of Zanu PF if they are to take the wheel.

If Mujuru does not have a new ideology that is totally different from Zanu PF, then that’s old wine skins.

The name of the party is ZimPF sounds like an acronym of Zanu PF. When they shout people first, does that include the majority they have “successfully failed” to put first for more than 34 years? They have been in the corrupt system for many years and now they have noticed that people should come first.

Now they say they don’t tolerate corruption, violence, hate speech and they want to build the country, where were they all these years?

Mujuru was the Vice-President for 10 years and she failed to make a difference.

Maybe the formation of this new political party is a political blessing for Zimbabweans. Mujuru could be a surrogate to the downtrodden Zimbabweans, but her real motive is questionable. Zimbabweans have overstayed in the wilderness. Canaan is near and yet so far, and that’s when you hear Frantz Fanon and the muted unborn cry: When?!
