The festival organisers yesterday released the calendar of events under their new format, where a variety of activities would be conducted as a build-up to the 2017 edition to be held under the theme Next Level.

Hifa executive director Maria Wilson said they will be taking the festival to different places as a way of trying, but new ideas at the same time developing new audiences.

“There is no a six-day event, but the truth is that Hifa is happening with a lot of activities which are a lead up to Hifa 2017 coming under the banner of Hifa as we seek to expand the number of activities outside the festival week,” Wilson said.

Hifa has set May as the Theatre Season while June will see the Parkade Party and Music Concert weekend.

In July, Hifa will host the Rugby Exhibition Match and Classical Ballet Celebration and Formula One Racing Demonstration in September as they incorporate sport.

Equestrian Exhibition with Art Auction and Wine show will be held in August while in November there will be a Fashion, Hair and Beauty Show before Anti-Poaching and Environmental Conservation Conference closes the show in December.
