Chivaviro recently released the album Mhepo Inoperekedza: Tiri Munyasha Part 2, while Shumba unleashed Calvary. Both albums are doing well on local gospel charts.

The first show will be held at Founders Centre in Pretoria on April 9, before another one at Germiston Prayer Centre the following day.

Chivaviro told NewsDay he was confident the two shows will be memorable to gospel music lovers in South Africa.

“We are glad to be taking Mhepo Inoperekedza — Tiri Munyasha Part 2 around South Africa now after the success of our Zimbabwe launch series. However, it will get hotter and more exciting when I, for the first time, combine forces with Blessing Shumba, a psalmist who will take the opportunity to launch his new album Calvary, here in South Africa for the first time,” Chivaviro said.

The Ebenezer hitmaker recently held over 15 album launch events in major towns and cities in Botswana and Zimbabwe as a way of reaching out to many gospel lovers.

Meanwhile, Shumba said he was ready for the Mzansi show.

“I confirm that on April 9, we will be in South Africa for a joint performance with Reverend Chivaviro. I am looking forward to that event, where I will have an opportunity to launch my latest album Calvary,” Shumba said.
