The book was part of a series of five books, four of which were released on the same day. These are Falls for the Top, Snippets of My Versatile Mind, Madhiri eCash and Inspirations from Lack on the Road.

Tourism Minister Walter Mzembi, who was the guest of honour at the launch, said Mungoshi Jr was establishing a great legacy.

“A legacy is greater than building gold temples because in writing, a story can be read to many generations,” he said, adding that the biblical character Solomon built a temple of gold, but it cannot be seen today as it was later reduced to rubble.

“An author sets in motion a prophetic word by writing things that can help people in ages to come.”

Mungoshi Jr — who is the son to legendary award-winning author Charles Senior and celebrated actress Jesesi Mungoshi of the Neria fame — said his book was inspired by Chiwanza’s life as a young successful entrepreneur.

He said writing the five books was part of his efforts to carry on the legacy started by his father, the doyen of Zimbabwean literature.

“I believe that I have to carry on the legacy started by my father, but our writings are in different realms because I am in a world faced with a lot of social media. The five books were done over a long period of time and are on inspiration and motivation,” he said.

The guest list at the launch included National Arts Council of Zimbabwe director Elvas Mari, Chiwanza, Irene Staunton of Weaver Press, Astro Mobile managing director Munyaradzi Gwatidzo, writer and literary critic Memory Chirere as well as literary scholar Flora Veit Wild from Wimbledon University in Berlin.
