Video: War Veterans denounce Grace and G40

WATCH VIDEO: WAR Veterans minister Christopher Mutsvangwa and members of his “suspended” Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans’ Association (ZNLWVA) executive yesterday blasted First Lady Grace Mugabe, Vice-President Phelekezela Mphoko and Zanu PF national commissar Saviour Kasukuwere for allegedly abusing State resources by holding whirlwind countrywide tours to prop up their G40 faction.

  5. It makes no sense to attack Grace in an indirect way and then praise Grace’s husband at the same time. Grace is married to Robert Mugabe – if one attacks Grace then he/she is also attacking Robert Mugabe. It’s the same as attacking Patrick Zhuwao and praising Mugabe. It’s silly because Patrick is Mugabe’s nephew. That is the long and short of it.

  6. Condemning the arrest of the PG by the war vets completely took the words of my support of them right out my mouth. They condone his actions of protecting child abusers, is this what they are advocating.

  14. Why is it that both factions claim to support RGM, the same person both want to replace asap? If there was ever any doubt as to where the political violence is coming from in this country the recent events have erased any doubt now.

Those with “degrees in violence” are not only at each other’s throats, but openly declaring war against erstwhile “comrades”. “Zanu ndeye ropa!” they shout, without consciously thinking about what they’re saying.

All because they have been living a lie. The truth has started seeping out now…can’t wait for it to start gushing out.

Some of us are quite enjoying the cabaret.

  15. I have a lot to say about what this guy Mutemadanda has said in the video. It’s untrue that whites caused problems for black people before 1980. Definitely false. His friend on his left, Chris Mutsvangwa, was given a grant by whites to study with whites at the University of Rhodesia in 1975 but Mutsvangwa spurned the grant and skipped the border to join Zanu. Mugabe’s education was funded by whites when his father abandoned the family in Kutama. What else did these people expect the whites to do? Before whites came in 1890 there were no schools or industries in the borderless land now called Zimbabwe. Villagers were sharing one back-breaking hand hoe per village before whites came with their ox-drawn ploughs. I wouldn’t exactly call this oppression or causing problems for the local people by whites. The true liberator, as far as I am concerned, is Cecil John Rhodes. Rhodes liberated black people from backwardness. Where it not for whites people would still be mired in the Stone Age, hunting and gathering fruit and berries. Wh do black people lie to each other that they liberated the country? Without whites there would be no country to talk about. In fact, there would be different people living in this land had whites not come. Those blacks who are there should be grateful to the whites that they were born otherwise there would be different people living in this land. Food for thought. Would local have been able to build the Kariva Dam (so-called Kariba Dam)? No way. People must not take things for granted.

    Colonialism was priceless.

    1. your argument is high sounding nothing,,,,, you Musona

    2. Its either you are still at primary school or you have listened to many folktales which is seriously affecting your thinking ability or you are just being lazy to think. You completely misunderstand the main reasons why the white man came to Africa. Bro. the white man is not your friend and please get it clear once and for all. The white man came to Africa to accumulate wealth and to use you as a form of cheap labour (slavery).

      1. @Chipa – garbage you fool – nobody was forced to work – if you felt you were being used then you could resign and form your own company. Simple as that. The white man also went to America – look how advanced America is. Th biggest economy in the world. Fool.

      2. Did the white man bring civilisation or not?

    3. Musona stop trolling and start taking yourself serious so that you can be taken seriously. Your arguments are so weak and I don’t even know where to start. If anything you are exposing your ignorance to the whole world which is not good for black people. Worshiping people who don’t even care about you will not take you anywhere. Go back and revise your history and please don’t skip any chapters otherwise you will be even more confused. Good luck because you will definitely need it.

      1. @Chimombe – which history are you talking about you fool? “…arguments are so weak…” – I do not think you know the meaning of the word weak you fool.

        1. Musona you seem to be very angry & emotional. Take it easy man, people are trying to help you. I also doubt your reasoning capabilities my brother. God bless.

“Why do black people lie to each other that they liberated the country? ”
“Without whites there would be no country to talk about.
“In fact, there would be different people living in this land had whites not come.
“Those blacks who are there should be grateful to the whites that they were born otherwise there would be different people living in this land.

  23. West yapinda papi apa? Its time to move on war vets. The Westerners are busy with their own issues and trying to improve their own people’s lives whilst you think they are planning to recolognise you. We have been hearing this story for the past 35 years now.

  24. At least there is light at the end of the tunnel. It is futile to say so and so did this and that. One need to dismantle the system that has caused so much suffering with the cooperation of those who had been part of the system, they know it better.

  25. These bloody war vets were part of the problem ! now because they are fearing being kicked off the gravy train they now say povo when we have been suffering for years…when they were plundering farms they were enjoying..i do not sympathies with these charlatans shedding crocodile tears …over the state of Zimbabwe’s affairs……
